Dr. Chen is a California native. He was born and raised in Los Angeles and received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Chou was initially from Taiwan and came to Los Angeles in 1988. He went on to receive his medical training at UCLA, completed his MD/PhD in 2008 and his neurosurgery residency in 2015.
Dr. Elena Barengolts is an endocrinologist and former professor with over 30 years of experience. She was the section chief of endocrinology at the Jesse Brown VA Hospital in Chicago, a professor of medicine at University of Illinois at Chicago, and on the editorial board for the Journal of Endocrine Practice (AACE).
Dr. Jack Zhang is originally from the San Gabriel Valley. He went to college at the University of California, San Diego and graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. He earned his DO/MBA dual degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine and Troy University. Dr. Zhang completed his residency training and served as Chief Resident of Psychiatry at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton, CA. Dr. Zhang specializes in treating mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, experiencing new cultures, and eating dim sum.
Dr. Ponnezhan is a Board Certified Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician, with over 10 years of experience.
Dr. KC Tan is an American, British and Singapore board certified interventional and neuro-interventional radiologist. He is an alumnus of Harvard Medical.
Ken C. Chiu, MD, FACE, FACP is a former professor in Endocrinology. He received his medical degree from the Taipei Medical University School of Medicine.
Dr. Poa trained at Northwestern University Medical School and performed residencies in Philadelphia and at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles where he was chief resident.
Dr. Lam received his B.A. in Biochemistry, Chinese, and Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008, graduating with magna cum laude honors and went on to obtain his MD degree at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine at Honolulu.
Dr. Xu received his B.A. in Health & Humanities from the University of Southern California in 2011, and went on to obtain his MD degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in 2015.
Dr. Selina Poon is a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Shriners for Children Medical Center and is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Serena Mathews is a board eligible OB/GYN who is completed her undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame, received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the State University of New York – Downstate and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn New York.
Dr. Sunny Lo is board certified in Internal Medicine and has completed his
training in Gastroenterology. He is a member of the American College of
Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
